Welcome

 Andrew his wife, Joan, and son, David, lived in a rented flat in Barnes, London.  They lived with Joan's parents, known to all the children as Nan and Mof (short for Mofa, my mother's father.)  John and the family frequently travelled to Barnes by bus and Joan would cycle from Barnes to Croydon, just over 10 miles each way.
