The 1930's

The 1930's were defined by a global economic crisis resulting from the Wall Street crash of 1929 and  drought in the crop producing plains of the US culminating in mass unemployment and hunger world-wide.  It saw the rise of the Nazi party in Germany leading to the outbreak of World War 2.
