John Jnr marries Margit
John and Margit married in the UK on 17 September 1989 in front of John's family and Margit's brother Jorg. They had a further ceremony on 29 December 1989 with Margit's family in Germany. Robert attended as John's Best Man.

In the back row to John's left is Jorg, Margit's brother, and to his right is Mo. Mo was an "Old Comrade" of John Snr, who used to come and stay occasionally after his wife had died and to attend the Old Comrades' Dinner. I'll leave you to identify the others,
